Location: Aurora, CO

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Mandatory Skills:
• Demonstrates understanding of and knowledge in IT methods and project management, and applies this in ALL STAGES of project.
• Understanding and experience with leading projects that involve ETL, data warehousing, analytics and reporting/on-line dashboards.
• Experience and know-how in technical business intelligence areas including data warehousing, data marts, analytics, and reporting / on-line dashboards.
• Demonstrated advanced knowledge (broad expertise or unique knowledge) of policies, practices and systems.
• Demonstrated application of advanced principles, theories, and concepts in past project management assignments.
• Some knowledge of business functions involved in the project – Claims, Network Exchanges (Specifically Insurance Exchanges, Healthcare Reform, Medicare or Medicaid.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Manages development of effort driven project plans and/or coordinates development of project plans across several independent projects.
• Demonstrates knowledge, experience and use of change management process and impact on business.
• Responsible for accurate time and budget reporting for a project.
• Experience managing matrixed resources.
• Provides consulting for business partners for business case development in the use of analytics and business intelligence.
• Evaluates best practice recommendations and trade-off scenarios to enhance the Project Quality Plan.
• Determines program resource requirements and procures resources.
• Assigns work, sets priorities, and provides guidance in the completion of tasks and review of program deliverables.
• Proactively communicates with enterprise-wide projects to plan and manage project interdependencies.
Desirable Skills:
• Health Plan and/or Care Delivery knowledge.
• Business Intelligence expertise.
• Experience with Business Objects and proficiency with SQL.
• Project Management
• Experience with one of the following: Medicaid, Medicare, Medical Claims, Health Insurance Exchanges .
