Position: Data Analyst / Business Systems Analyst

Location: North Chicago, IL

Duration: 6+ Months

 

Pharma exp. is not must, it is preferred.

 

 

I have a need for a Data Analyst / Business Systems Analyst.  Someone who has done analytics in a pharma marketing / sales environment and understands the needs of a product brand team.  The resource will need to be able to collect and author report requirements, perform data analysis / reconciliation / profiling against the source, proactively understand the data and work to uncover trends / anomalies that could impact business operations, work to improve the overall data quality of the environment, deliver a structured methodology to new report creation and testing.   Someone who has done self-service reporting in Cognos would be a bonus.  We are not looking to do complex technical development, only self-service and coordinating that development with the technical team.  An understanding of Cognos suite of tools would certainly be helpful in working to bridge the gaps between both the technical development team and the business.

 

This resource needs to be someone who is proactive and will take the initiative to dive deep into the data and understand it.  There has to be a balance between technical proficiency / business systems analyst / understanding sls and marketing in a pharma environment.
