Job Title: Sr. Java Architect

Duration: 6 months

 

Description:

Must have true Design Experience.

Candidate must have at least 7 years development experience and 3 years experience in leading technical teams.

A solid understanding of software development methodologies (process, roles, artifacts, etc.) is a must.

Candidate must be able to work closely with business analysts to vet and refine requirements, work with project managers to structure a development project plan, design a solution, and work with an offshore and onshore development team to build it.

Candidate will need to deliver code reviews, design walkthroughs, and ensure the development team's deliverables meet functional and quality requirements.

Candidate must also have the technical ability to act as a senior developer when the need arises.

Technologies used include Java (JEE), WebSphere 6.x, Struts, Wicket, Spring, Hibernate, SOAP, UDB/DB2, SQLServer.
