Senior PHP Developer

 

Developed using Object Oriented PHP, Oracle

Databases and JQuery. Worked for a company which had an

enterprise level web based application.

 

Location: Stamford, CT

Duration: 6 months plus

Rate : $50/hr max 

 

NOTE FROM MANAGER:

 

PHP to design websites and PHP to design enterprise applications are two different ballparks.

We're looking for PHP developers who worked on large PHP applications and were responsible for working in a team to develop functional modules for these applications.

Just setting up websites is not what we are looking for.

Also heavy DBA skills cannot compensate for development skills.

 

Description:

Work within a small fast paced team to develop and maintain

web based enterprise software. The software manages the

creation and storage of commercial artwork from conception

to production. The developer will be expected to work on the

design, development, testing and maintenance of the Kodak

D2L product line. Good communication skills and the ability

to work as a member of a team are critical to this position.

 

Experience:

*2 years experience designing object oriented enterprise web

based systems.

*2 years experience programming in PHP 5.x or higher.

*2 years experience managing websites with Internet

Information Services (IIS) 6 or higher.

*2 years experience developing database driven applications

with Oracle 9 or higher.

*2 years experience with code repository management tools

such as Subversion (SVN)

*2 years experience developing Web 2.0 User Interfaces with

AJAX, Javascript and JQuery

*Has worked in a team environment

 

Education:

*Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering

or Electrical Engineering
