Job Description: Mobile Packet Core Network Expert

GPRS/ UMTS Mobile Packet Core Network Expert

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Technical support to activities in Mobile Packet Core networks Design, implementation and Operations
• Working with operators on various geographies round the world
• Participate in client presentations & discussions.
• Understand client requirements and respond to Planning/ Solution documentation

• Involve in project delivery in Packet Core network domains
• Technical support to the operations/ delivery team while delivering the project

                           

Technical Skills

• Working experience of @4 to 7 years in Telecom industry in GSM core networks with exposure to GPRS/UMTS mobile Core network design, planning, operations & performance
• Should have excellent understanding of Telecom packet core network architecture, interfaces, protocols and services for GPRS, UMTS and LTE networks.
• Understanding of 2G/3G Call flow and basic steps of data call flow.
• Should have hands core network elements and knowledge on SGSN, GGSN functions.
• Have excellent understanding of Telecom network standards and regulatory practices like 3GPP, 3GPP2 etc.
• Familiarity and experience in installation commissioning and deployment of core nodes.
• Understanding of the critical interfaces Iu CS, IuPS, Gn, Gi etc. in terms of planning & performance management
