Position: Oracle DBA
Location: Memphis, TN
Duration: 12 months
Rate: $ 35-37/hr
Required:
Required Skills/Experience:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Oracle 10g/11g experience in Development, QA and Production environments
Experience with 11G R2 RAC
Experience with Golden Gate
Experience with Oracle DBA with database design, development and support
Experience with Data Architecture
Experience with VLDB (Very Large Databases)
Experience with large table partitioning
Experienced in OLTP (On Line Transaction Processing) environment of 1000+ TPS (transactions per second) in an Oracle RAC environment
Experience with Oracle Data Pump restoring and managing databases across multiple environments, dev levels particularly
Experience with Oracle database performance and tuning (AWR reports, explain plans, 10G Advisors)
Experience with OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager)
Experience with Grid Control
Experience with SQL Loader
Experience with SQL Plus
Experience with DDL
Experience with Data Modeling (with DB Artisan, ER Studio, Erwin, Power Designer)
Experience with SQL and PL/SQL tuning
Experience with Backup and Recovery tools (RMAN, SQL Backtrack, TSM/Tivoli)
Experience with Oracle RAC
Experience with Oracle RAC on Red Hat Linux preferred
Expertise in the UNIX environment (HP, SUN)
UNIX shell scripting (a must)
Red Hat Linux experience
Desired Skills/Experience:
Sybase experience
PeopleSoft experience
Oracle certifications
