I need an ETL Architect with the following experience

Location – Chicago,IL

Duration – 3+ months

Pharmacy experience is must.

Job Description:

• Creates ETL system design specifications

• Design, develops and unit tests ETL routines

• Creates test cases and supports execution

• Supports system, integration and UAT testing

• Informatica experience a must

• Teradata experience preferred

• Pharma, Sales and Marketing experience necessary - knowledge of IMS, Specialty Pharm, etc. data sets preferred

• Strong ETL development experience –transactional data (Operational Data Stores – ODS) and data warehouse environments

• Will be responsible for developing data extraction, transformation and load programs for Data Warehouse projects, developing and executing ETL test plans, and automating the ETL process through scheduling and exception-handling routines.

• 8+ years of experience deploying DW/BI methodologies

• Experience with database technologies, data models, and general data warehouse concepts are required

• Experience with RDBMS Technologies such as Oracle and Microsoft is required - Teradata preferred

• Analyze the data flow requirements and develops a scaleable architecture for staging and loading data.

• Interpret the transformation rules for all target data objects and develop the software components to support the transformation.

• Test, load and validate data.

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills required.

• Strong written and oral communication skills required

• Detailed oriented.
