Title: .NET developer
Location: NYC

Duration: 6 months

Description:

The project will require assessment of the existing ETL scripts that are used to incorporate Environmental data streams into EDEN including water quality, asbestos, radiological and Biological sample results and streamlining the processes to drastically reduce the time required to incorporate a new data stream into EDEN.

- Consultant will utilize SSIS and/or Altova ETL tools to develop a user-friendly interface to Incorporate additional CBRNE (chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosive)

Environmental data streams into EDEN in close collaboration with Environmental Health subject Matter experts.

- Consultant will develop custom reporting modules for the Office of Environmental Investigations

NYCETrack data system using C#, .NET 3.5, MS SQL Server 2008, SSRS, DevExpress controls and incorporate them into field-based data collection system

 

MANDATORY:

·         Advanced knowledge of C# (Visual Studio 2005/2008/2010)

·         Advanced knowledge of ASP.NET (IIS, web services)

·         Advanced knowledge of Transact-SQL

·         In-depth knowledge of MS SQL Server 2005/2008 programming

·         Prior experience with Windows Forms programming

·         Experience with creating complex packages using SSIS

·         Experience with creating complex reports using SSRS

·         Extensive experience with design patterns, system architectural concepts and

·         Frameworks

·         WCF Data Services (formerly ADO.NET Data Services)

·         ADO.NET Entity Framework

·         LINQ
