Experience in Breakingpoint Test System and Ixia

Experience in Firewalls, Load Balancing and LAG.

 

Required Skill-set

 

  • Experience in Ethernet switching / IP routing domain
  • Experience in Data communication in L2/L3 layer
  • Hands on experience on Juniper routers and switches preferable
  • Experience in either Manual or Automation (TCL/Perl) testing.
  • Working knowledge of testing Routing protocols such as OSFP, BGP, RIP ,GRE VRF, VRRP, Multicast routing (IGMPV3,IPTV) and the respective RFC's
  • Should have experience in writing scripts from scratch for test cases
  • Working knowledge of functional testing of L3 Routers and multilayer switches , or CMTS , Cable modems
  • CCNA/CCNP preferable
  • Must have done automation of L2/L3 devices using TCL & Expect ,Shell or Perl in the above areas
  • Experience in writing test cases and creating test design from Requirements and RFC's
  • Experience in debugging script failures and isolating system/software issues.
