Job Description:

The Client is looking for 2 Teradata DBAs. Two members of their team left during the acquisition and has left the team spread thin. They are currently performing an upgrade to Teradata 13. Any upgrade experience would be a HUGE PLUS. They have a deadline at the end of April to have this upgrade complete and Fujitsu needs these resources ASAP to make that happen.

 

Additional Job Info:

• 5+ years in Teradata Database Administration in multiple-Node MPP environment. • Excellent knowledge of Data Warehousing, MPP and large-scale data management issues and concepts. Excellent understanding of logical and physical database design including knowledge of indexing, compression, stats and so on. • Excellent knowledge various Teradata loading strategy including familiarity with Abinitio. • Excellent skills in setting up viewpoint, Teradata Manager and other tools. • Excellent skills in TTU 13.10 and TPT for windows and Aix environment. • Excellent skills coding shell scripts, macros, stored procedure and SQL query tuning. • Experience in workload Management including TASM, Priority Scheduler and so on • Understanding of Teradata MPP database platform 5550, including Linux running TD12 and above. • Preferably Teradata Certified.
