Job title: DotNet Developer
Duration: 6 months+
Location: Honolulu, HI
Description:
Works with Technical Lead. Excellent knowledge in .NET (VB.NET & ASP.NET), SQL, and Oracle.Assists with User Interface(UI) and web-services related architecture and technical design. Development and maintenance of database systems as it interfaces with various .NET solutions. Coordinates and develops process automation/job scheduling. Perform testing, code review. Performs defect analysis. Very good analytical and problem solving capabilities. Excellent communication skills. Team player.
Skills Required:
Ø 3+ years experience in developing ASP.NET and VB.NET interface/integration solutions using Microsoft Team Foundation Services (TFS). Working experience with .NET Framework #.#, ISS, WCF, etc.
Ø 3+ years working as a systems analyst with progressive experience working with complex database environments.
Ø 3+ years experience writing requirement specifications, design documents, and system flow diagrams for Information Systems using MS Office Suite.
Ø 3+ years hands-on experience working with databases e.g. SQL Server, Oracle.
Ø 3+ years hands-on experience with writing SQL; stored procedures, etc.
Daily Responsibilities:
1)Create VB.NET and ASP.NET solutions that interfaces with various databases and application systems.
2)Developer works independently enough to understand the requirement, create design , come up with unit test cases, create the application interfaces/services, work with QA to resolve issues, take responsibility to take the code all the way to production.
3)Create design and supporting documentation for the .NET application being delivered.
Nice to have skills:
Health care/health insurance experience is desirable.
College degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field.
