Senior J2EE Application Developer

Location: Richmond, VA

Duration:  Long term

 

I have a new J2EE Developer position open in Richmond, VA.  Contracts will most likely be extended to 3 years. Please let me know if you have any available, Qualified consulants who are interested in long-term contracts in VA.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Evaluating existing systems and/or new user needs to analyze, design, recommend, and implement information system changes.

·         Defines system and application architecture and provides vision, problem anticipation, and problem solving ability to organization.

·         Consults with client to define need or problem, conducts research, performs studies and surveys to obtain data, and analyzes problems to advise on or recommend solutions, utilizing knowledge of theory, principles, or technology of specific discipline or field of specialization.

·         Reports to and receives direction from ITSD Enforcement & Adjudication Sr. Project Manager.

Requirements:

·         5+ years of solid, hands-on experience in: analyzing, coding, unit testing, and implementing J2EE applications development.

·         3+ years experience in Hibernate ORM, Struts and Spring Frameworks, and SQL.

·         3+ years experience in integrating J2EE applications with online payment modules.

·         Experience working in Agile environment preferred.

·         Experience with Virginia Interactive online payment system preferred.

·         Experience with Weblogic application servers preferred.
