We currently have a contract opportunity for a QA Automation Engineer with our client located in Kansas City, MO.

 

Project Description:  The current eCommerce UAT team performs traditional user acceptance testing and functional testing using manual regression test cases, and this Proof Of Concept project will improve our clients UAT processes and procedures by automating testing to gain efficiency and drive quality in its UAT process.  The Automation Engineer will provide the UAT team guidance in establishing an automation framework which will drive quality in the UAT process and will become a part of daily UAT processes in parallel with existing processes used by System Test and Enterprise Test teams.  Automation Engineer Tasks include: Assess existing testing tools Quick Test Professional and Business Process Testing; Define, plan, guide, create/update automated testing scripts; Map a process and governance model between various testing teams; Optimize regression set scripts by analyzing coverage areas and reducing redundancy; Customize regression set data sources within the tool and per environment.

 

Job Description:  

·         We are requesting a full time Automation Engineer with testing expertise in HP QC (Quality Center) QTP (Quick Test Pro) and most importantly BPT (Business Process Testing), who is also proficient with VBScript. 

·         The resource will need to work on client site in Kansas City on a 10 week Automation Proof Of Concept engagement from 2/20-4/27, with a planned follow up extension phase in May through December. 

·         The key requirement is experience in working with manual test cases for a website and automating them into HP BPT business components. 

·         Most testers have basic development experience, but we need someone with expertise in VBScript to help the client quickly code scripts related to an aggressive project timeline.
