Job Title: Linux Admin

Duration: 6 Months+

Skills:

• Upgrade and bring up kernel

• Define Kernel configuration

• Kernel Modification

• Support multiple queues from kernel to user space

• Support inline hijacking

• Support Symantec IP filter for TAP/SPAN

• Bug fixes

• Create RPM packages

• Procedure to build kernel

• Bring up kernel and tune kernel

• Enable kernel core dump

• Build and bring up SWG software

• Bring up mi5_ipfilter, char_dev, and load_tree kernel modules

• Bring up hardware watchdog, hardware bypass drivers, and lcd panel driver

• Resolve any compiling errors

• Bring up third party software packages and tune the configurations

• Build and Install libraries used by SWG but not in Centos 6.1 package

• Install and Bring up SWG software on Hardened OS

• Hardening OS

• Install libraries, packages, and tools that are needed by SWG

• Identify and Remove unused applications or components

• Perform security/vulnerability scan and fix it

• Procedure to auto build hardening OS and enforce version control

• Bring up hardened OS

• Procedure of field upgrade

• Build OS restore
