1. SAS Developer for Milwaukee, WI – 4 Months
Role Description: SAS 9.2 and 9.3, SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Data Integration Studio. Experience with SAS FM is a plus
Responsibilities:
This resource will act in a governance role, as an extension of the COE, over custom SAS coding and SAS DI processes. The resource will review and approve Functional Designs, Technical Designs and Code, adhering to internal guidelines for quality. The scope of the project is primarily SAS dataset movement and transformation. The resource should have strong analytical and communication skills and at least 7 years of SAS development or equivalent. Experience with the demand driven forecasting projects is highly desirable. Experience with SAS’s DDF suite of product is also desirable. The resource will also be responsible for working with an off shore development team. A couple of phone conversations a week outside of work hours with the off shore team is required.
2. SAP BI BODS Consultant – White Plains, NY – 3 Months Contract to Hire
3 Month Contract to Hire.
Our client is leveraging SAP BusinessObjects BOBJ Data Services and SAP ECC data extractors to build enterprise data warehouse based on SAP source systems. This role is responsible for data warehouse activities ranging for business requirements gathering to final implementation and maintenance of the application leading to truly integrated enterprise data warehouse serving both local and global stakeholders needs. This role will also be involved in the ETL architecture and performance tuning to ensure robust and scalable data warehouse solution. This role must be fully proficient using, enhancing and creating SAP ECC extractors.
Duties Include:
· Business requirements and data analysis
· Architecture and design of the ETL solution using SAP Bobj Data Services, SAP NetWeaver BI/BW extractors and SAP near real time data extraction techniques
· Development, testing and implementation of ETL flow using SAP BW extractors and SAP BOBJ Data Services following standard practice
· Coordinate activities with off-shore resources
Qualifications:
· At least 3 years of recent IT experience in development and customization using SAP Netweaver BW extractors on large data warehouse projects. Must be proficient in using SQL.
· 1 year of experience on enabling near real time reporting using SAP technologies
· At least 3 years of experience in designing data warehouse and data mart layers in SAP and non-SAP environments
· Experience in ABAP development is a plus
· Experience in SAP BOBJ Data Services is a plus
· Experience in Microstrategy BI platform is a plus
· Experience in analyzing retail / manufacturing industries business requirements is a plus
· Prior Avon experience on Order Management System and Call Center system is a plus
· Must be able to design complex data warehouse solution. Must have an experience in data analysis
· Must be able to provide solution for data quality and data loading performance
· Must be able to work with business users, infrastructure team members and consultants both off-shore and on-site
