Position Summary:
Provide technical leadership ensuring that the Teradata data warehouse infrastructure and tools are maintained and available for the application development and operations teams to effectively utilize. Understand business requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, and support of new processes for the enterprise data warehouse to determine best practices.
Job Description:
1. Design, develop and support ETL processes and procedures to ensure data quality and integrity using Teradata at least years' experience
2.. Monitor and tune applications to minimize processing times.
3. Work with vendors on support and design issues.
4. Identify opportunities for process and infrastructure improvements.
5. Provide technical vision and recommend strategies and solutions for projects and for the enterprise.
Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor or Associate Degree in Information Systems or Business Administration.
2. Solid experience with Teradata ETL procedures and utilities.
3. Experience SQL programming, Unix shell scripting, data modeling, and MicroStrategy desirable.
4. Solid oral and written communication skills.
5. Demonstrated experience conducting presentations and actively participating in meetings.
6. Good understanding of the theories and principles of systems development and the interrelationships of systems.
7. Experience in full life cycle project development.
8. Willingness to learn new technologies.
