Position: Test Mobile Engineer

Duration Of Hiring: 3-6 months

Work Location: Detroit, MI, USA

 

1. Job Description

• The Infotainment System Test Engineer is responsible for writing test procedures and testing the Infotainment System, identifying and documenting System issues.
• Performing drive tests to evaluate the performance of navigation features, and automotive entertainment applications.
• Perform testing of cloud-based applications, specifically for vehicle to infrastructure communication.
• Configuring test benches, test tools and test software
• Execution, evaluation, and reporting of test results

Desired Skills & Experience

• Knowledge of Mobile Applications and Smartphones
• Knowledge of CAN Bus, monitoring messages, and sending CAN messages
• Capable of using oscilloscopes, multi-meters, and signal generators
• Ability to learn quickly, and work autonomously
• Desire to work in a fast paced work environment
• Model based testing
• Testing strategies
• Software architecture
• Analyzing and debugging of complex systems
• Strong communication skills
• Technical writing
• Computer skills including MS Office, Microsoft Excel, Word
• Strong engineering discipline skills (e.g. DFMEA, DVP, P diagrams, Block diagrams)
