.Net Web Developer 

Clear Lake, TX

2 month contract

 

The ideal candidate for this position is self-motivated, possess good documentation and project management skills, and be able to communicate with technical and non-technical people.  This person will work closely with clients to develop specification documents with clear project deliverables and timelines, and to ensure timely completion of deliverables. This person will also work closely with IS team members to ensure their websites meet branding and code standards.  This person must also possess the ability to accept constructive criticism of their work.

 

Specific skill/technologies:

Experience writing functional and design specifications for Web applications as well as hour estimations to complete desired work

Must have experience creating and implementing websites using HTML in classic ASP andASP.NET.   

Experience developing websites utilizing full CSS with div structure

Experience developing interactive web sites using classic ASP, ASP.NET utilizing Visual Basic or C#, AJAX, VBScript, JavaScript, HTML, DHTML and SQL syntax with Microsoft SQL Server as a back end for delivery of database driven dynamically generated web pages

Experience writing reports with Microsoft Reporting Services

Experience with Microsoft SQL Management Studio, including database diagraming, creating stored procedures, and database concepts

Understanding and experience with the full application development life cycle                                         

Experience documenting systems for user training and programming sustainability
