Job Description
Test Engineer to execute test plans and scripts for PC Manageability software in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
• Test – Execute test plans pertaining to remote deployment of OS, software drivers and BIOS on PCs Notebooks, Desktops, Workstations and Thin Clients.
• Configuration – Assist in the setup of test configurations.
• Troubleshoot – Assist in the investigation and isolation of root cause for issues identified during the testing process
• Reporting – Provide timely status reports of tested software
• Other tasks and responsibilities, as assigned by Test Lead
Qualifications
Experience and knowledge (Must have background in one or more of these areas.):
• Associates Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field of study
• 2+ years of QA Test experience in the PC industry a plus
• Knowledgeable in technical subject matter such as PC architecture, PC firmware, PC device drivers, HW level encryption, trusted platform module, PC security applications, and the concepts of
BIOS domain.
• Familiar with LANDesk, Altiris, SCCM and/or HP SW deployment tool is a plus
Skills:
• Ability to work with a diverse team — must be a team player
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills in order to generate creative/innovative solutions
• Keen attention to details and accuracy.
• Very good planning, organization, and facilitation skills.
• Effective written and oral communication skills in English.

Job Description

• Perform set up of complicated test configurations.
• Troubleshoot - Involved in the investigation and isolation of root cause for issues identified during the testing process
• Provide timely status reports of tested software
• Manage servers and network environments
Qualifications
Experience and knowledge (Must have background in three or more of these areas.):
• 3+ years of QA Test experience in the PC industry.
• Knowledgeable in technical subject matter such as PC architecture, PC firmware, PC device drivers, HW level encryption, trusted platform module, PC security applications, and the
concepts of BIOS domain.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field of study is a plus
• IT admin experience is a plus
• Familiar with MS SCCM and/or HP SW deployment tool is a plus
Skills:
• Ability to work with a diverse team — must be a team player
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills in order to generate creative/innovative solutions
• Keen attention to details and accuracy.
• Very good planning, organization, and facilitation skills.
