JOB SUMMARY:
The University of Connecticut would like to contract a Senior Extract, Transformation and Load (ETL) Developer who will help the Data Warehouse team provide the Kuali Financial Data Mart ETL Development support and services.
The Kuali Financial Data Mart is loaded using IBM ?
DataStage and hosted on Oracle database on an AIX platform.

CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop DataStage ETL scripts
Enhance the existing data model supported by UITS
Document the ETL processes and standards in use
Provide ongoing production support for the Data Warehouses / Marts
supported
Mentor and collaborate with other ETL developers
Improve current processes and identify and recommend future ETL tools
Provide backup coverage for IBM DataStage
Discuss business reporting and analysis requirements with our
customers
Suggest, demonstrate and use techniques needed to develop the
appropriate ETL
Improve current services as well as identify new services that would
benefit our customers
Perform related duties as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in computer-related field and five years
programming
experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2 years DataStage ETL development
Demonstrated ability in analytical reasoning and logical problem
solving
Significant ETL development experience
Demonstrated business requirements gathering
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to show initiative and work independently and on a team
