Duration: 6 Months+
Skills:
· 7+ years of experience with enterprise level server design and support
· 5 years of virtualization experience including both VMware and Microsoft solutions
· 3 years of experience as a technical lead or architect
· Deep technical expertise on Windows Server 2008, Active Directory, DNS, and Exchange 2007/2010
· Has a strong working knowledge of midrange management tools (VMware, Citrix, Tivoli, Net Backup, VERITAS Storage Management) and application tools (Web sphere, MQ, SQL Server, Oracle).
· Extensive experience with infrastructure and server theories, principles and concepts; application infrastructure and standards; networking fundamentals; Windows; SAN storage systems; clustering (e.g. VCS, ZFS, LVM); physical server architecture; Virtualization Technologies (e.g. VMware, Solaris Zones) and LAN/WAN/Firewall/VPN network technologies.
· Advanced knowledge in building Windows servers in a virtual ESX VMware environment.
· ITIL or other best practice methodology.
