-    Provide expert technical guidance for complex and difficult switching/routing/optical network problems.
-    Interface and assist Agencies with network engineering
-    Interface with other  teams to ensure that network changes flow efficiently
-    Design and code router/switch configurations as required
-    Implement new processes/functions on routers and switches as required, including but not limited to QoS, multicasting, NTP, VLAN configurations, TACACS, RHI, IP-SLA, HSRP, Content Networking, and Global load balancing.
-    Have significant experience with IPv6 address planning, configuration and troubleshooting.
