Software Engineer Firmware
Work Location:-Houston TX - 77070
Duration : 12 Months+ Contract or Full Time with the client
Rate : Market

Software Engineer Firmware

a.       Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs and modifies firmware (e.g., DSP, embedded code, BIOS). Work often involves analog and digital hardware and real-time operating systems. Position requires
          knowledge and exposure to hardware design. Typically programs in machine language, assembly language and high-level languages (e.g., C, C++)

b.      Experienced in architecting and implementing Blade product solutions

c.       Exposure to embedded Linux environment and will require the implementation and integration of multiple IEEE 802.1 protocols

d.      Have experience with product development from concept to product delivery along with experience with one or more of the following: embedded software/firmware development , Linux,
         Ethernet, switching protocols, network architecture

Systems Software Engineer (Firmware)

Duration : 12 Months+ Contract or Full Time with the client

Systems Software Engineer (Firmware)

•         Knowledge of C and/or C++

•         Hands-on firmware or software product development experience.

•         Designing firmware, including interaction and integration with hardware design

•         Firmware testing methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.

•         Knowledge in one or more of these expertises, Ethernet network architecture,  Fibre Channel Storage, SAS or iSCSI storage.

•         Strong understanding of virtualization technologies.

•         Capable of effective communication, presentation, leadership, and follow-up.

•         Strong team player with ability to effectively interact with cross-functional and cross-geographic teams.

•         Experience with Agile development process.
