Job Title: Network Engineer
Location: El Dorado Hills, CA or Lodi, CA
Duration: 6 Months+
Skills:
| · 7 + years experience in network engineering and architecture skills at a Senior level.
· CCNP certification and experience supporting Cisco routers, switches, and hubs Juniper firewall experience needed.
· In-depth knowledge of WAN Protocols including but not limited to MPLS, frame-relay, POS, ATM.
· Solid experience with TCP/IP, DNS, routing, web serves, ticketing systems, network monitoring systems.
· Must have NetScaler and/or F5 Load Balancing experience.
· Design and implement new network topologies as needed, incorporating best practices around WAN/LAN, mobility, switching, routing, security and convergence.
· Familiar with WIFI 802.11 technology
· In-depth knowledge and implementation skills of Cisco's Switching, Routing and Security products VCS configuration/management necessary.
· Strong ability to analyze, consolidate and communicate complex. technical topics to all levels of staff (including but not limited to IT executives, business/technical managers, developers and system administrators) in verbal and written form.
· Must be able to navigate through ambiguities and flexible to multi-task changing priorities.
· Strong detail orientation, follow-through capabilities and escalation of key issues superior analytical and problem solving skills.
· Strong ability to build partnerships and influence others that are not in the direct sphere of control. With the ability to earn the respect of technical personnel across application and infrastructure teams.
