Senior Java Architect

 

Redesign and upgrade legacy services using open source frameworks  Establish the foundation for a Java development practice and application integration platform Eliminating the .NET framework and mediation services developed using WebSphere Message Broker (WMB). Extensive Enterprise Java and Enterprise Application Integration experience 8-week Application Architecture phase to determine and validate the right solution architecture and Java stack followed by design, development, testing. Establishing the best tools, frameworks, and practices for Java development, including open source integration platforms, repeatable builds and releases, test automation, continuous integration and deployment.

 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED

 

·        A minimum of 5 years of Java Architect experience

·        A minimum of 5 years of Spring (This is a must have)

·        Hands-on software architects/engineers with extensive Enterprise Java and Enterprise Application Integration experience.

·        Technical expertise combined with drive and communication skills to help establish a Java development practice and an application integration platform

·        Outstanding expertise in Java Enterprise software development and Enterprise Application Integration using Spring and Spring Integration.

·        Experience with the JBoss platform and MS SQL Server.

·        Solid understanding of software development best practices (test-driven development, continuous integration) and different software development methodologies (agile, waterfall).

·        Analytical thinker and hands-on problem solver who excels at getting new team members up to speed.

·        Result driven mindset and ability to communicate with people at all management levels.

·        Experience using Maven and the Atlassian tool suite a plus

 

NICE TO HAVE

 

·        1 + year (s) of JBOSS

·        1 + year(s) of SQL
