Client has an immediate need in Portsmouth, NH for a .Net/SQL Developer for a 6 month contract. A Contractor left and took a perm job. So it's a replacement position can be filled quick.

 

Candidate will be working on a retail sales system. The environment has some older VB6 legacy applications and newer .Net/C# applications, ASP.Net, Sql server 2008 on the backend. A lot of code resides in the interfaces; therefore experience with SSIS is important. Candidate should have C#/.Net framework and SQL Skills- queries, joins, indexes, stored procedures, triggers, etc.

 

It's a mid-level role. Process is easy and client is responsive. They hire off of the phone, but communication skills must be good. They'll work on-site in Portsmouth, but some of the senior developers work off-site; therefore they'll be interfacing on the phone and via email so verbal and written skills are a must.
