Job title: Unix Admin

Location: Thousand Oaks, CA

Duration: 6 Months+

Skills:

·         5+ years as Unix administrator

·         5+ years of VERITAS 5.x product experience(volume manager, cluster server, volume replicator)

·         3+ years of recently working in Solaris 10

·         3+ years working RHEL

·         Experiences in clustering Solaris

·         Provides technical leadership

·         Responsible for ongoing management of Unix infrastructure

·         Performs necessary systems maintenance in accordance with Sun and Red hat best practices and company change management process

·         Designs system integration architecture as required

·         Responsible for Runbook design, development and ongoing updates

·         Responsible for ongoing recommendations and best practices as applicable

·         Responsible for capacity planning and disaster recovery planning and design as applicable

·         Provides ITIS process planning as applicable

·         Rotational 24x7 on-call support
