Duration: 6 Months+

Skills:

1. Implementation of new releases, hardware upgrades, patches, and Teradata client software
2. Maintain system-wide performance settings (database/hardware)
3. Responsible for database Backup and Recovery processes
4. Database level design / environment strategies 
5. Server Enhanced Connect (monitoring/controlling, Security Policy-setup)
6. User Role / Profile Definition & Management / Maintenance
7. Implement DDL, indexes, views, triggers,  etc.
8. Proactive monitoring & perf. Tuning  of database level activity and resource utilization
9. Assists with SQL problems/spool problems, resolution of DBMS errors
10. Develop and publish capacity forecasts/plans (appliance specific)
11. Implement/Maintain workload management configuration (process/user priority/service class)
