Description:

Our client is looking for a Sr J2EE Developer to design, develop, implement and support a web-based Java Clinical Charting Application that improves Patient Quality of Care. They are upgrading this home-grown application to a new version, which will require moving from Oracle Application Server (Oracle AS) to WebLogic, and an Oracle 10g platform to 11g.

This person will follow approved life cycle methodologies, create design documents, and perform program coding and testing. They will need to rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required. This position reports to the Senior Software Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 6 years Java programming experience, 8 years of overall IT experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related engineering field.
• Sun Certified Programmer – or equivalent work experience
• Effective communication is a must
• Solid Java J2EE, Strong Patterns
• Object Oriented Design (OOD) and Object Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Hibernate and Spring Framework Proficiency
• Modern Web Framework Experience
• GWT, JQuery, HTML5, CSS3 Experience
• SOAP, REST Services Architecture, Web Servcies, Design and Implementation
• Oracle Relational Database Experience, 10g and 11g
• Experience with Tomcat, Apache, Oracle App Server 10g and Weblogic 11g
• Linux/Unix OS
• Unit Testing
• Agile methodologies a plus
