Position: C#.Net Developer
Location: Arlington, VA
Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree
Minimum Experience: 4 years
The position will be responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of a new external website built using .NET and transitioning the work from a vendor to be supported internally. In addition, the role will require the ability to interface with internal clients of varying technical skill level and provide guidance on implementing and supporting this CMS through all phases of the system development life cycle. It will also require proficiency of working with .NET/C# in building sites complex dynamic sites or web-based tools.
Responsibilities:
• Develop .NET solutions based on business requirements, working closely with internal clients on defining requirements.
• Collaborate with a 3rd party vendor on the design and implementation of .NET-based Sitecore CMS
• Work closely with front end designers to implement new design features
• Integrate CMS with various internal and external system such as Google Analytics, SharePoint and our CRM system
• Debug and test new software or enhancements to existing software, creating release notes for all updates.
• Troubleshoot user reported errors
• Provide training and guidance to other developers on the CMS
• Prepare detailed systems specification and technical design documentation based on business requirements received from internal clients
The Requirements
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in software development in .NET on web-based tools and websites.
• Experience using Sitecore or other similar CMS platforms preferred.
• Minimum 4 years web application development
• Strong experience with JavaScript, CSS, XML/XSL, AJAX, Classic ASP, and SQL
• Ability to work independently and in a team oriented environment
