Position: ETL Analyst / SAP Business Objects Data Services
Location: Houston, TX
Duration: 6+ months
The ETL Analyst is responsible for all extraction, transformation, and loading activities related to the development and implementation of Business Intelligence and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) initiative. This individual will manage central and globally-distributed delivery of data to the central Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) from multiple legacy source systems to the central EDW system.
Must have:
BS degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems and at least 5 years of experience with progressively more difficult assignments.
4+ years direct experience with reporting systems and ETL.
5+ years of experience with SAP Business Objects Data Services
In depth knowledge of SQL Server database technologies.
At least 3 lifecycles of ERP implementation experience doing ETL using Data Services
Experience working with XML
Extensive experience with Data Integrator
Strong experience with Data Quality Management (DQM)
Knowledgeable in OLTP systems and relational modeling
Knowledgeable in OLAP systems and dimensional modeling
Experience with BusinessObjects 4.0
Experience with BusinessObjects Data Services 3.2 and 4.0
Experience with BusinessObjects administration
Knowledge of BusinessObjects user access level and user groups
Experience working with Webi and crystal Reports is a plus.
Expert ability to create query transforms, edit and troubleshoot BODS jobs.
Strong knowledge of database star schema and database table relationships and how to determine them in BusinessObjects Data Services.
Knowledge of database architecture and how data flows in Extraction Transformation and Load using BOBJ Data Services.
Experience with Microsoft SQL and Oracle databases as source systems
Willingness to work in a fast paced environment and can adapt to new circumstances.
Proven experience in database parameterization, load performance, troubleshooting, and Data Quality Management techniques.
Strong background in application security.
