Job description:
Position Summary: Develops, implements, and maintains web-based application systems for Client's Legislative web sites and services. The qualified candidate will have extensive web development experience and be familiar with the standard development life cycle. This person will:
· Assist in the development of our legislative web sites and web-based applications according to defined business and technology standards.
· Have extensive experience with Ruby on Rails, MySQL, CSS, XML, JSON, SASS, HAML. Redis and Solr experience a plus.
· Monitor application performance and help scale site capacity to meet traffic demands performance.
