Title: Senior Network Engineer
Location: Costa Mesa, CA
Duration: 12 months contract

Job Description:
| • Provide engineering and operational support for all Cisco network devices across the Experian Interactive infrastructure including switches, firewalls, routers, VPN, load balancers, WAF, and IDS/IPS.• Implement logical network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, firewall policies, routing protocols, VRF, MPLS, QOS, security schema, etc.• Create network documentation that includes physical and logical designs, version management, IP schemas, and firewall rule sets.• Troubleshoot and diagnose advanced network issues including configuration, routing issues, spanning tree, performance, software bugs, hardware failures, etc. and provide detailed root cause analysis.• Coordinate with 3rd party companies to configure secure inter-site network connectivity over technologies such as VPN, T1/DS3, and MPLS networks.• Manage a multi-layer firewall solution including analysis of traffic and implementation of rule sets• Submit a production change requests (PCR) prior to implementing any network changes• Document network standards including device configuration and peer review process.• Establish and grow collaborative relationships with peers and other groups across Experian Interactive• Complete weekly and monthly status reports to management• Document and implement best practices for network design, patch management, administration, upgrades, and security• Create a series of predictive KPI's and metrics to determine network capacity• Perform peer review for all changes; make recommendations for upgrades and enhancements based on project and business demands• Continuously implement recommendations to increase stability, reliability, and availability while reducing overall costs• Support the evaluation and selection of all new technology within the data center and office environments• Coordinate with NOC team to ensure all network devices are properly monitored. Create Run Books for NOC to self diagnose level 1 outages.• Work with Information Security group to implement solutions from audit findings (PCI/SOX) and security best practices• Interface between project managers and data center staff for all business related projects by defining requirements, documenting infrastructure recommendations, and managing implementation.
