Job Description:
1. Sr. ERP Bus Analyst, Financials (GL/AP)

2.Experience with Advantage ERP software application is highly preferred.

3. Experience with other ERP software will be considered.

4.Specialized subject matter expertise in the most complex budgeting and accounting functions;

5.Knowledge of general principles of accounting and budgeting as well as significant directly related and progressive experience.

6.Knowledge is applied to technical subject matter.

7.Acts as SME for the team and makes decisions of considerable impact or consequences involving highly specialized and/or technical areas requiring application and interpretation of data, facts, procedures, policy, and law.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Performs complex accounting functions for school districts, outside agencies, internal office departments, and programs; maintains chart of accounts and assigns codes in accordance with state reporting and county management requirements; reconciles and distributes state apportionments and local taxes; reviews and reconciles account and fund balances; reviews documents and claims for accuracy, completeness, and uniformity to rules, regulations, and laws; coordinates, prepares and reviews month-end / quarter-end / year-end closing process and documents; monitors accounts receivable and accounts payable; performs periodic review of financial reports and verifies accuracy.

2.Coordinates the development of budgets for internal and external clients; provides information and assists staff and administrators in budget preparation, implementation, and control; prepares, balances, compiles, and enters budget data; performs statistical analysis of cash flow and budgets; monitors and evaluates budgets and cash flow for appropriateness to ensure fiscal accuracy and accountability.

Job Description:

1. Sr. ERP Business Analyst, HRM/Payroll/Benefits Admin

1. Performs a variety of complex accounting duties in the preparation, processing, and maintenance of payroll, salary and benefit calculations

2.Collects, analyzes, updates and reconciles payroll and benefit data on a daily /monthly / quarterly / annual basis

3.Reviews timesheets uploads from Case Management and proactively takes measures to ensure payrun is correct.

4.Verifies payroll, benefit and control data for accuracy, appropriateness and documentation

5.Researches and analyzes discrepancies and processes appropriate corrections; ensures the accuracy of payroll and benefit codes

6.Researches and processes payroll and benefit adjustment entries; calculate and apply garnishment deduction orders

7.Researches, calculates and prepares payments for various benefit vendors, tax sheltered annuities (TSAs), and state/federal agencies

8.Reviews, reconciles and balances payroll and benefit data for daily / monthly and variable payrolls

9.Prepares supplemental payrolls as needed

10.Reviews and processes manual warrants

11.Reviews, analyzes and updates salary and benefit projections for accuracy; calculates retroactive salary data as assigned.

12.Maintains accurate records and monitors salary and benefit related data for the County Offices and State agencies employees / employers (Providers / Recepients)

13.Creates and/or maintains a database to organize, collect and retrieve data into required reporting formats

14.Monitors record keeping procedures for accuracy, maintains mandated documents as required including salary schedules

15.Prepares a variety of complex payroll related reports as mandated by county office, state, and federal regulations

16.Uses a variety of software applications to create and design reports and spreadsheets, plans and monitors work production timelines to meet strict deadlines in reporting regulations
