Job Description:
The Business Analyst is responsible for applying business knowledge, analysis concepts and communication skills to gather and create business requirements.
Job duties include but are not limited to the following:
Partnering with business clients to analyze business and user needs, create as-is and to-be process flows, and document business requirements while considering business implications of the application or technology to the current business environment.
Organizing and leading review sessions for business requirements and issue resolution.
Planning, preparing and executing testing activities to ensure appropriate testing is conducted for the work effort.
Assisting with project planning by either contributing or creating project definition documents.
Participating in components of project and/or production support activities.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or work equivalent.
Strong experience in capturing and documenting business requirements, representing multiple business partners and presenting the data in an easy to understand format.
Ability to professionally facilitate working sessions with business partners to coordinate and address requirements needs.
Intermediate understanding of process and operational workflows.
Strong oral and written communication skills; utilizing MS Word and MS PowerPoint to document memos and other project documentation.
Experience with Visio, MS Excel (including pivot tables and comparisons), SharePoint and Outlook.
Self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

Prior experience in healthcare or insurance, particularly in managing Sales and Enrollment capabilities.
Working knowledge of project methodologies.
An understanding of the IT Software Development Lifecycle.
