Role: Senior PM
Duration:6 months
Location: Philadelphia
Rate: $50/hr
Description:
Our client, a Healthcare Company located in the Philadelphia, is looking for a Senior PM for a contract opportunity through 4Q2013. This is a technical PM role, requiring knowledge/expertise of the SDLC and best practices. This PM will be managing 5+projects all at different stages in the project life cycle. They will be responsible for developing the master plans (consolidated views) of several linked related plans and drives, optimizes and manages all plans while presenting alternate scenarios to continuously reduce overall critical path. Responsibilities Include: Assists the Program Manager in the development of complex projects' budgets, applies EV analysis across multiple projects, manages resource plan to budget and reports `planned vs. actual` budget variances. Insures that assigned projects are defined, developed, tested, documented, and implemented following quality standards and scheduled time lines. Works with functional managers to negotiate for resources for projects and communicates with those managers regarding resource availability, workload, and performance. Manages departmental staff, other functional resources, and consultants during all phases of project. Develops, communicates, and monitors project implementation schedules, budgets, and resource plans. Develops and implements corrective action plans when as needed. Contributes to the development and administration of projects management methodology, policies, procedures, standards and tools Performs other job related duties and projects as assigned. Adheres to clients' policies and procedures. Supports and carries out the Mercy Mission & Values.
Required Skills and Experience:
4 year college degree Experience in Health Science background is a plus Being able to interact technically with the developer and a project is a most Experience with data warehousing or business intelligence would be a plus. Fast paced with management of multiple projects - shorter duration but high volume Levels resources to determine impacts across plans and manages multiple master plans. Experience developing multi-project communications plans/reporting methods Excellent communication Significant experience with risk migration/troubleshooting plans Experienced developing clear and complete Cost Benefit Analysis, Project Charter/Scope, Business Requirements, Project Plan, Budget and other key project deliverables as required. Experienced preparing funding requests, vendor Statements of Work. Proactively monitor project progress and status by measuring and reporting performance against the project plan Analyze and remediate variances to plan including budget, schedule, resources, risk, scope and quality. Experienced approving vendor invoices for payment. Experienced facilitating project meetings Experience measuring benefits realized by the project, and analyzing and reporting project benefit outcomes.
