Position: Oracle Forms Application Migration Specialist
Location: Salem, NC
Duration: 4 months (possible renewing)
Responsibilities:
§ Resource will be responsible to support migration of Oracle Forms, Reports and Designer (ver 10gR2) based application to version 11gR2.
§ Candidate will support in testing of real time systems applications and associated enhancements.
§ Resource will be involved in making and testing changes associated with large programs during upgrade process.
§ Work with the PM / team to establish plans for implementation.
§ Resolve high level, complex, or previously unknown issues requiring expert technical knowledge of Oracle Forms and Designer.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
§ Must have previous experience with Oracle forms upgrade/migration.
§ More than Five (5) years of Oracle Forms, reports and Designer experience
§ Strong PL / SQL experience
§ In-depth knowledge of Application Server configuration techniques and task automation
§ Prior experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting of Oracle Application Server and/ Or Weblogic Application servers is preferred
§ Sharp technical troubleshooting skills including IT experience within a large team
§ Demonstrated ability to coordinate the resolution of escalated issues
§ Good grasp of Windows OS
§ Prior experience with software configuration management
§ Good conceptual background on Network and Oracle DB
§ Working knowledge with Oracle RDBMS and J2EE based Oracle interaction
§ Analyzing and documenting software installation processes and procedures
§ Strong interpersonal and communication skills
§ Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to details
§ BS / MS in Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent with a background in IT
