Title: Systems Programmer / Security Analyst III

Location: Richmond, VA

Length: 1 Year+

 

Provides IT systems support that may include duties such as installation, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting and repairing. May perform quality assurance processes to effectively manage system availability and improve operations. May also perform security assessments or configure software in support of system security requirements. Systems Programmer

Includes performance tuning, installs, and upgrades to systems software, such as MVS, Unisys, or LAN operating systems. Also includes storage administration.

Systems Security Analyst

Includes all functions related to enterprise-wide data security, such as external pipes and firewalls. Also includes efforts to mitigate data security risks.

Service Experience 5+ years

Financial Services experience 3+ years required

Network Responsibility Multi-Country desired

Performance Tuning 5+ years of demonstrated experience tuning main frame environments Capital One Experience Desired

Deep knowledge of diverse systems and platforms and exposure to new and emerging technologies

Mission Criticality: Demonstrated experience working on mission critical customer facing transaction systems

Troubleshooting: Advanced demonstration of diagnostic skills across a broad number of technologies and platforms

Ability to effectively communicate across multiple levels (Executive Sponsors to team members); Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical individuals

Demonstrated ability to work with and coordinate efforts amongst multiple outside third parties
