You will be an automation engineer helping this company deliver infrastructure as a service platform. You will define, design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain automation infrastructure. You will contribute to the toolset vision for the configuration and automated deployment of their IT infrastructure and evaluate and recommend technologies that will be easily maintained and enhanced to get ahead of their rapidly growing development efforts. You will participate in the development of the Automation strategy for configuration management and software deployments of multi-tier web hosted applications and back end servers on large network infrastructure. You will create repeatable processes and verifiably consistent deployment results that can be utilized throughout the environment, review existing automation sequences, and develop new scripts/methods that optimize for reuse, integration with other tools and sustainability.
