Location:  San Francisco, CA
Duration : 1 year

 

Brief Job details: We are looking for a Linux Sys Admin with very strong Puppet administration skills (server side Puppet, not just client side - knowledge of M Collective a plus)The Systems Administrator is responsible for advancing the use and adoption of Puppet server automation software, as well as maintenance and implementations.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Utilize configuration management framework (Puppet) to deploy and manage systems.
Support Puppet Infrastructure
Serve as support for mission-critical internal applications and tools
Provide training and guidance to internal Puppet users

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Puppet
Strong linux systems admin skills

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience supporting a large Puppet deployment (at least 250 servers)  Open Source Puppet preferred over Enterprise Puppet
3+ years experience managing Unix/Linux systems
