Title: Sr. Front End Java Developer

Length: 1 Year+
Digital IT team is currently searching for motivated and experienced developers for its portal delivery team. This team designs and builds dynamic, targeted, web-based solutions for our Client's financial services customers, utilizing a portal framework and related technologies.
The portal delivery team is looking for Contractor developer.
This position will be accountable for developing stable, scalable and maintainable portal-based solutions.
This position will create units test and documentation, integrate solutions with other applications/services, support Quality Assurance during testing, support implementation into production, and provide production support.
This role will participate in detailed design and will be responsible for adhering to existing architectural, development and process standards and guidelines.
Other skills include:
• Ability to convert specifications about business problems into programming instructions • Design and hands on development for superior quality, high performing applications using portal framework components • Ability to review, analyze, and modify programming of enterprise systems • Ability to create and maintain technical documentation • Ability to monitor operating efficiency of existing application systems • Ability to develop detailed flowcharts to show processing logic for programs
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems/Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical area or at least 7 years of full SDLC experience • 6+ years application development experience • 5+ years of experience with Java, J2EE, WebServices • 4+ years of experience with CSS, JavaScript, HTML • Experience with OO design pattern and SOA.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in agile development environment • Experience with WebLogic, Apache, Eclipse, ClearCase, SQL, Oracle • Experience with JDBC and SOAP • Experience with unit testing tools like JUNIT, SOAPUI • Experience with Maven/Ant • Experience with third-party web development tools, such as browser plug-ins and add-ons • Experienced at developing applications for multiple browsers • Experience with Spring framework or equivalent • Experience with JQuery • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Excellent interpersonal skills • Ability to provide effort estimate for technical solution • Ability to create and maintain system documentation • Ability to derive design from requirements • Ability to participate in design, code, test case and implementation plan reviews • Recognized by peers and customers for technical expertise • Experienced at designing and tuning systems for speed and performance • Strong analytical skills, with an aptitude for finding appropriate design abstractions • Skilled working with team members located in different parts of the world.
