Position: Senior C#/.NET Developer Desktop Application (10+ years)

Location: Eagan, MN (Skype Interview)

Duration: 12+Months

 

 

We are seeking a results-driven, team-oriented, self-motivated professional who combines exceptional technical credentials with a high degree of business acumen and effective communication skills for the position of Senior Software Engineer. This candidate would be responsible for working with a team coach, tech coach, and development team to develop desktop applications within the Litigation and Transactional Development technology group. Ensuring the use of Agile practices and maintaining high code quality practices are among other responsibilities of this role.

 

Key Responsibilities & Technologies:

 

Ø  C#/.NET (MS Visual Studio 2010 & 2008) ASP.NET

Ø  CSS, HTML5, XHTML, XML, XSL, AJAX , JavaScript, JQuery

Ø  Web Services , REST, SOAP, JSON

Ø  MS Team Foundation Server & Team Build

Ø  Third Party Unit test tools, including: MSTest, NUnit, JSUnit

Ø  MS Office integration, MS Build script

Ø  C++, COM, VSTO

Ø  Design, develop and deliver software on cutting edge platforms in C#, JavaScript and VSTO

Ø  Implement OO and MVC based designs applying working knowledge of design patterns in presentation, data and business modules

Ø  Collaborate with other software engineers on design decisions and direction for application requirements

Ø  Troubleshoot user issues, working with development team, business, operations, customer service and users

Ø  Facilitate and fulfill tasks as a member of an agile team, using agile practices (e.g. peer reviews and paired programming, Test Driven Development, daily stand up meetings)

Ø  Discover new technologies and techniques and adapt to dynamic business requirements

Ø  Provide input on scripts and automation tools which build, integrate, and deploy software releases to various platforms

Ø  Mentor less senior personnel
