Windows 2008 Server/System Administrator, This role will be responsible for leading the engineering efforts to design and build highly available and scalable IT Infrastructure solutions and processes for. The Senior Infrastructure engineer will partner closely with stakeholders to support new applications, manage capacity, and identify and drive opportunities for new technologies, cost-savings, and operational simplicity.

Windows 2008 Server/System Administrator, This role will be responsible for leading the engineering efforts to design and build highly available and scalable IT Infrastructure solutions and processes for. The Senior Infrastructure engineer will partner closely with stakeholders to support new applications, manage capacity, and identify and drive opportunities for new technologies, cost-savings, and operational simplicity.
REQUIREMENTS:
Provide thought leadership and engineering expertise to design and deploy clients Core IT infrastructure including Virtualization, Servers, Storage, and Networking
Chief technical contact for selected areas to outsourced operations vendors. Define processes, standards, and architecture
Responsible for architecture of selected platform (Windows 2008 Servers)
Define infrastructure strategies to meet business needs and communicate to senior management with a focus on reducing cost and complexity, while increasing features and reliability
Promote system reliability and efficiency by creating and implementing system standards and operational best practices
Lead projects through IT Project Lifecycle including design, test, deployment and hand-off to operations
Lead efforts to improve monitoring and detection of faults and performance degradation throughout the environment
Provide oversight of outsourced infrastructure operations
Identify, promote and, drive adoption of new technologies
Through close partnerships with Operations, Security, Hosting, and End User Services develop technology solutions that continuously lower our expenses
Working with security to design and implement PCI and PII compliant solutions
Assisting during maintenance window activities
Automate routine tasks with automation toolsets
Carrying a pager or cell phone for 24x7 on call activities
Expert level knowledge of IT Compute Infrastructure including storage, servers, converged solutions, and virtualization
Experience scripting with various platform specific tools
Experience selecting, implementing, and operating backup infrastructure
Experience with enterprise WAN and LAN design and operations including routing protocols, circuit designs, QOS, MPLS, high-availability designs
Expert knowledge of security and firewall technologies
Experience designing, deploying, and operating enterprise network infrastructure
Experience implementing and designing monitoring infrastructure to support operations
Strong written and verbal communication skills"
