Position : DW architect
Location : New Haven, CT.
Duration : Long term
· Perform requirements gathering and analysis
· Establish and define data sources
· Conduct data analysis
o Identify core objectives
o Run initial queries
o Analyze results
o Further refine objectives
· Define data integration requirements and approach
· Define data presentation needs
· Profile desired outcome
· Define backlog items
· Estimate work efforts
· Create high level milestones
Publish the Data Warehouse high level scope
Create the Data Warehouse roadmap and include:
1. Formal high level scope
2. Identified key risks
3. Implementation strategy plan
4. Forecast of high level future projects
5. Forecast of expected maintenance for a 5 year window
6. Cost of development, implementation, and support
7. Definition of delivery options with a recommended path
8. Evaluation of technology decision points with recommendations
