Title : Change Management Lead or PMO
Location – DC
Duration of the Project - 2-3 years

Position Description :

The Change Management Specialist will play a key role in ensuring projects (change initiatives) meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. This person will focus on the people side of change – including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. Worked in an Oracle Applications Release 12 environment.

•    Communications: Developing and executing an effective and efficient communications plan, aimed at education and establishment of support for entire program.  Objectives are to ensure accurate and effective communications of expected and planned changes of operating system.  Will include: Stakeholder analyses, Communication plans, and actual communication as well as documentation of processes.

•    Change Management: Focus on developing and implementing effective and efficient change management approach aimed at ensuring associates and management are aware and prepared for the upcoming changes.  Objectives are to assess the change readiness levels of the business and its associates, determine the impacts, as well as create and implement action plans prior to implementation.  Will include: Change management plans, User engagement strategy and Plans, Business Readiness Assessments, Change Impact analysis.
Training:  This area focuses on developing and executing an effective training approach, which ensures a well-trained associate group which encompasses minimal errors and seamless transitions.  Designing and developing training that enables associates and management to effectively perform their jobs.  Will include: Training plans, training development, and training logistics and delivery


Skills and qualifications :
•    7- 10 years' experience in Change management  - in the Public Sector a plus
•    Worked in an Oracle Application environment. (R 12)
•    Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools.
•    Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal.
•    Excellent active listening skills.
•    Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
•    Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
•    Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
•    Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.
•    Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere.
•    Forward looking with a holistic approach.
•    Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics.
•    Problem solving and root cause identification skills.
•    Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization.
•    Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others.
•    Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.
•    Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
•    Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts.
•    Change management certification or designation desired. Prosci Certification a plus
