Title: SiteMinder Consultant
Location: Austin, Texas
Type of position: 24 Months Contract
Responsibilities:
· Subject matter expert for our Business to Business LDAP environment.
· Understand access control systems (SiteMinder).
· Performs routine and preventative maintenance such as health-checks, utilization monitoring, and log file management.
· Perform system monitoring, analyze and document performance and conduct trend analyses as required.
· Works with Level 1 and Level 2 operations to resolve system outages.
· Work with application teams that leverage the LDAP infrastructure.
· Collects data describing the environment at the time of the failure and perform other activities in support of problem management procedures.
· Documents the environment, keeping design and architecture diagrams current.
· Manage LDAP replication across different Geographical locations.
· Perform database creation and schema changes.
· Responsible for performance tuning and indexing.
· Troubleshoot replication and performance issues.
Qualifications
· Installation and configuration of SiteMinder 12.x, SunOne LDAP 7.x (Oracle 11g).
· SunOne LDAP Administration capabilities.
· Required working knowledge of Web Servers Apache, IIS, IIS with .NET framework, and WebSphere.
· Required working knowledge in UNIX shell scripting and Windows batch scripting.
· Understanding of web server load balancing configuration.
· Required working knowledge of SunOne LDAP, SiteMinder Policy Management, SiteMinder Web Agent installation.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Ability to work with development, production and applications teams for the lines of business.
· Demonstrated ability to document and follow procedures.
· Ability to work independently or as a team member.
· SiteMinder policy store and key store setup experience.
· Knowledge of SiteMinder R12 and R6 running in mix mode.
· Ability to perform R6 and R12 Agent installation and configurations.
· Experience with migration from SiteMinder R6 to R12 a plus.
· Knowledge of SiteMinder's Advance Password Services.
