Role :Linux Engineer

Location : CA

Duration: 12-18 months

 

Requirements:

Ø  12+ years experience with enterprise Linux administration (Red Hat Linux)
Open-source software installation (compile from source or RPMs)

Ø  Shell scripting (bash,csh,tcsh,ksh)- Strong UNIX scripting

Ø  Experience with building, deploying, and maintaining compute farms

Ø  Inter process communication

Ø  Monitoring tools, like sar, iostat, vmstat, top

Ø  Fully familiar with Linux kernel parameters

Ø  Familiar with NFS technologies (NFS 3 - NFS4)

Ø  Autosys exp preferred

Ø  IBM MQ exp preferred

Ø  IBM Platform Symphony / Grid exp preferred

Ø  Working knowledge of SAN/NAS technologies (Hitachi and NetApp)

Ø  File System (ext3, NFS) and raw devices

Ø  Performance tuning (server and storage)

Ø  Working knowledge of Oracle RAC running on Linux

Ø  Network and filesystem security

Ø  HP ProLiant DL and BL systems

Ø  High Availability clustering experience

Ø  On-call support

Ø  BS in Computer Science or equivalent
