Work Location :Houston, TX
Relevant Experience (Yrs) : 10+
Technical/Functional Skills :
The JAVA Technical Architect must have a combination of:
•Very good J2EE experience,
•Good Spring MVC experience,
•Aware of SOA concepts,
•Experienced with Design Patterns,
•Experienced with UML,
•Design experience of J2EE project
•Communication skills to deal with people of different backgrounds and negotiate
mutually acceptable outcomes in the face of divergent opinions
•Ability to work in an onsite-offshore model
Good to have skills
•Oracle SQL/PLSQL
•Oil & Gas Industry Experience
•Work experience on mobile version
Roles & Responsibilities : The main responsibilities are:
•Design applications based on user requirements
•Discuss requirements with users and creating requirements doc.
•Creating prototypes to discuss with users.
•Report progress to IT Manager
Additional responsibilities may include from time to time:
•Project planning
•Investigate new tools
•Explain users on how to use the new or changed application / reports.
•Support people who use the developed application
