Job Description:

 Required Skills & Experience

• 7-8 years hands-on experience in the IT/software development industry in software development with a strong focus on designing and developing enterprise web applications in an engineering domain
• Strong experience in Java, Java Enterprise Edition, and Web Frameworks (Struts, Spring, WebWork), JQuery, Java Script, JSON, HTML5, CSS, SOAP/REST, application server technologies such as Tomcat, Web logic, JBoss, etc.
• Preferred hands-on experience with SQL and Velocity
• 3 to 5+ years of experience in implementing and direct working experience in developing plugins preferably with Atlassian tools, Eclipse in a fast paced engineering environment preferred
• Proven track record of leading system upgrades preferably with Atlassian tools.
• Strong knowledge of working with SCM tools such as Git, Perforce, and Subversion.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interface with users and senior managers of all levels.
• Ability to work and lead small teams by breaking down major tasks into smaller pieces. Ability to work within a structured systems engineering and development environment.
• Ability to formulate approaches and strategies for successful deployment of applications.
• Data query and report writing skills, with ability to study raw data and drive conclusions
• Must be able to function independently, be a team player, and thrive in stressful situations. The ability to multi-task and meet deadlines is required.
