Job title: SQL Server database architect
Duration: 3-6 month
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Senior distributed Sql Server database architect for a 3-6 month contract position to architect n-tier database application which will handle millions of records, thousands of simultaneous connections and super-fast response times. Successful architect will work with other senior .NET developers to outline and execute the plan for a scalable, high flow database which will need to be extremely responsive to user input, on par with largest available web platforms in use today. The start-up is a pioneer in the real estate industry with ground breaking concepts and tools.
Requirements:
- 5+ years designing and implementing commercial, enterprise level, multi-tiered Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) applications
- Enterprise application development in C# with .NET framework, with n-tier, distributed database applications
- Expert knowledge in MS SQL Server and data caching for complex online systems
- Architect and design experience, including use of abstract factories, publisher-subscriber patterns and provider models.
- Database modeling skills with the ability to write DDL and create complex stored procedures
- Enterprise experience in creating a database structure roadmap that will drive technical and development implementations
- Experience with cloud computing , virtualized datacenters and modern ISPs
- Superior interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science required, master's or PhD preferred
